Professor of Guitar, Dr. Cain Budds, will premiere Three Fantasies (on three influential progressive rock bands from the 1970s) commissioned from guitarist and composer Mark Cruz of Texas State University at San Marcos. Thursday, April 4th at 7PM in the F. Jay Taylor Art Gallery on the campus of Louisiana Tech University.

The Fantasies feature the musical motifs of Led Zeppelin, Yes and Rush!

Also on the program are all works composed specifically for the guitar: Joaquin Rodrigo, Antonio Lauro, Dusan Bogdanovic, and Leo Brouwer.
