Concert Program June 1st at 7pm at the Arthur W. Stone Theatre
The New Music on the Bayou Festival returns to Ruston and Monroe on June 1-4. Since 2016, this one-of-a-kind multi-day, multi-venue, multi-city festival shines a light on contemporary music by bringing together select composers, local performing musicians, and audiences for flash presentations, open rehearsals, and nine concerts all free to the public. The visiting composers will be traveling to north Louisiana from across the country and beyond. The Ruston portion of the festival will include concerts at the F. Jay Taylor Visual Arts Center (June 1, 1p), the Arthur W. Stone Theatre (June 1, 7p), the Daniel D. Reneau Biomedical Engineering Building Rotunda (June 3, 1p), and Ruston Artisans (June 3, 7p).
